KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting has partnered with a rapidly growing services company in Lawrence that is searching for a Payroll Specialist. This is a permanent position that will be hybrid, but this person will be expected to be in office during busy payroll days. This position lead processing weekly and biweekly payroll for over 1500 employees in several states.

The Responsibilities For This Position Include
- Overseeing a the payroll process and ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
- Calculating bonuses and payroll for hourly and salary employees
- Payroll reporting and analysis
- Leading month, quarter and year end close for payroll
- Assisting with preparing quarterly and annual wage and tax filings
- Participating in workers compensation and 401k audits
- Ad-hoc analysis
- 3 years of payroll experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required
- Payroll systems experience
