Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting

Publicly traded technology company is seeking a Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting to add to their team. This position will manage revenue operations, ASC 606, deferred revenue, contracts, and controls. We are targeting candidates with 7-10 years of experience and strong ASC 606. CPA / Public accounting backgrounds are preferred, and ideally would like candidates that have experience with process improvement / automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global revenue accounting process
• Ensure revenue is recognized in accordance with ASC-606
• Manage contracts with vendors and negotiate contract terms as needed
• Play a key role in optimization and implementations that affect revenue and accounting operations
• Assist with monthly and quarterly close
• Partner with various operational departments, FP&A, and c-level
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field
• CPA and public accounting experience preferred, but not required
• 7-10 years of experience
• Strong understanding of ASC 606 and US GAAP
