Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Multi Family Sales to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth within the multifamily flooring industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in flooring/ multi-family/single-family housing sales leadership, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to forge strong relationships with key corporate partners. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to managing a sales team, as well as a willingness to travel and represent the company at industry tradeshows and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals and market expansion in the multifamily flooring sector.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and strategic positioning.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients, property developers, and industry stakeholders.
- Able to negotiate complex contracts and deals with larger corporate business partners to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between sales strategies and product offerings.
- Support and ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.
- Act as a key spokesperson for the company at industry tradeshows, conferences, and networking events, showcasing our flooring solutions and building brand awareness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10 years of experience in flooring sales management and multi-family housing, with a strong background in the flooring, construction, or building materials industry.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and scaling sales teams, with demonstrated experience in negotiating large corporate deals.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel frequently for sales trainings, industry events, and tradeshows.
