Activities include processing requisitions for goods and services, interfacing with vendors regarding pricing and terms of purchase/service, placing orders, and maintaining additional documentation related to the site’s business operations as requested.

\n- Performs research and assists in sourcing goods /services, including vendors, costs, and availability.
- Responsible for enforcing controls (financial and safety control related) around the purchase requisition process, per company policy.
- Responsible for full-cycle order placement from inception with the vendor through internal receipt of goods and accounting into company systems.
- Processes goods returns and provides necessary purchasing documents for instruments to be shipped off-site by Metrology or other technical personnel for service/repair.
- Maintains vendor files in relation to purchasing, as required
- 1 years related experience. ·
- Thorough knowledge of account and file maintenance.·
- Strong understanding of purchasing procedures.·
- Good knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft office suite applications, specifically Microsoft Excel.·
- Good understanding of basic accounting controls.·
- Excellent computer skills and system knowledge.
