What You Will Do:
As a Strategic Purchaser, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to secure the best value for the company. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to align purchasing strategies with business objectives, ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and sustainability in procurement activities.
Procurement & Purchasing Operations
- Manage daily purchasing activities and maintain accurate purchasing records and ERP data
- Evaluate product options, prepare purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery coordination with project managers
- Resolve pricing, shipping, and quality issues with vendors; maintain purchasing policies and procedures
Vendor & Contract Management
- Oversee vendor relationships, including selection, evaluation, and negotiation of supplier agreements
- Manage the full lifecycle of vendor contracts, including pricing, renewals, and compliance with terms
- Track incentive programs, monitor credit usage, and renegotiate contracts based on performance and market trends
Strategic Planning & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Forecast demand and inventory levels, collaborating with operations and warehouse teams to prevent shortages
- Support cost reduction and process improvement initiatives aligned with company goals
- Work with internal teams—project managers, finance, logistics—to align purchasing with business needs
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 5 years of experience in senior procurement or purchasing roles, including vendor management, contract negotiations, and bid management (AV Industry preferred)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to represent the company in vendor and customer negotiations
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Q360 or similar ERP is a plus
- Proven ability to manage daily purchasing tasks while aligning procurement with business goals
- Skilled in streamlining supply chain processes using data and technology
- Team-oriented, collaborating with finance, operations, and other departments to support company needs
What You Will Get:
