Compensation: Base Commission

KCH Transportation is seeking an experienced Credit Collections Specialist I to join our team in Chattanooga! As a Credit Collection Specialist I, you'll play a key role in ensuring timely payments from our customers while maintaining strong relationships in the fast-paced industry of logistics!

Position Summary:

The Credit Collections Specialist is responsible for creating and sending invoices, tracking payment processes, keeping meticulous records, and resolving any discrepancies. The individual should also be able to handle client complaints and follow up on issues relating to the billing process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process accounts receivable transactions

• Continuous evaluation of current policies and recommendations for process improvements

• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner

• Provide support for internal and external audits

• Prepare cash receipts for processing

• Perform account reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner

• Manage collection efforts and associated functions

• Analyze credit reports

• 
  2-3 years of experience with collections, invoices, and/or accounts receivable

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Strong attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to analyze large sets of data

• High degree of familiarity with accounts receivable functions
