Salary :
Purpose : Quality Engineer partners with the Quality Manager to complete the day-to-day coordination and management of quality activities for designated projects to ensure that all products installed on the project are in compliance with the governing plans and specifications of the project.
Key Responsibilities :
- Review of daily inspection reports, supplied by Quality Control and Quality Assurance inspectors.
- Entering daily inspection reports and testing results into file storage system.
- Maintain a log of all testing completed on any given day and track required documentation until submitted.
- Track Quality Control and Quality Assurance inspectors field time.
- Review of Material Receival Reports to ensure that all materials are in compliance with governing specifications.
- Assists in preparing quality status reports; attend / participate in project status meetings; assists in development of meeting minutes.
- Assist with project-close out activities pertaining to quality documentation.
- Assists with updating the schedule for Quality Control and Quality Assurance inspectors.
- Attend weekly progress meetings.
- Perform additional assignments as directed.
