What are the responsibilities and job description for the Voice Network Engineer position at KCI Telecommunications?
KCI is seeking an experienced Managed Service Network Engineer to become an integral part of our Managed Services Design and Fulfillment team. In this role the Network Engineer will interface with customers and project managers to collect information required to configure and troubleshoot their voice services including call flow, hunt groups, voicemail configuration, caller ID, and extension lists. Candidate will need to have a strong VoIP and networking background, experience with Broadworks and other voice services is a huge plus. Experience with Broadworks or other voice platform is required.
Essential Function
Enterprise Telecom experience
Analyze customer data network design requirements
Follows customer engineering process guidelines for network engineering, document storage, and communications
Knowledge of how VoIP works
Communicate clearly and precisely with field personnel, customers, and project managers
CCNA preferred or equivalent experience
On the job training will be provided to fill in the blanks
