Are you ready to make an impact with a rapidly growing leader in the food manufacturing industry? We are seeking an Inside Sales and Logistics Manager to join their high-energy team. In this role, you'll be at the heart of the action, connecting with sales teams, corporate leaders, and operations to streamline processes and drive growth. You’ll be responsible for managing orders with precision, supporting strategic sales initiatives, and ensuring smooth communication to help the company exceed customer expectations and seize new opportunities.

Location : Santa Barbara, CA

Job Responsibilities :

  • Serve as the primary link between outside sales representatives and internal HQ / operations.
  • Collaborate with production teams to align production schedules with sales forecasts and demand.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer lists to support sales outreach and reporting.
  • Review and approve incoming orders, verifying accuracy, pricing, and availability while keeping outside sales informed on order status.
  • Represent the sales department in cross-functional meetings with finance, operations, and marketing, advocating sales priorities and customer needs.
  • Manage price lists and pricing structures to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
  • Provide Point of Sale (POS) materials to outside sales and customers upon request.
  • Generate and deliver data-driven insights and reports to sales leadership to support informed decision-making.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring exceptional service and prompt issue resolution.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to generate sales opportunities, including re-engaging lost sales, reviving dormant accounts, and upselling and cross-selling.
  • Coordinate trade show participation, including registration, logistics, and on-site representation in collaboration with outside sales.
  • Oversee sample orders for the sales team and customers, ensuring timely delivery and proper tracking.
  • Attend and support West Coast trade shows as needed to represent the brand and engage with potential clients.
  • Oversee and schedule weekly truck shipments to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Manage fly orders, coordinating shipments to meet customer demands efficiently.
  • Process and input orders while ensuring smooth coordination with logistics teams.
  • Lead and manage the inside sales and invoice team.

Required Skills / Qualifications :

  • 5 years of inside sales, logistics, and customer service experience
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to analyze sales data.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work across multiple departments to drive inside sales success.
  • proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Salary : $90,000 - $140,000 annually
