Job Duties:
Essential Responsibilities:
- Reviews student applicant files for accuracy and completeness and notifies applicants if critical information has been omitted in the application process.
- Provides assistance to current and potential students, parents, counselors, and other personnel regarding admissions policies and applications status.
- Must work closely with other departments, such as Financial Aid, Academic Advising, Business Office, and Recruitment to support student onboarding.
- Assist in executing admissions-related events like open houses and application workshops.
- Provide guidance to prospective students, parents, and guardians about college programs and services.
- Troubleshooting issues with applications and resolve concerns quickly.
- Processes major change requests for students and faculty.
- Manages the Scholarship application. Works with students if any information is missing.
- Processed home campus changes from students.
- Enters information from unofficial transcripts into Peoplesoft.
- Goes to area high schools to help the recruitment team.
- Helps colleagues with reports.
- Any other job duties given by their supervisor.
High school degree/ 1-3 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with traditional and non-traditional student populations.
- Knowledge of community college programs, services, and the admissions process.
- Knowledge of community organizations and area high schools.
