Our Groveport site has an immediate opening for a dynamic Accounting Analyst who wants to grow their career. This individual is responsible for maintaining financial reports, supporting month-end close and special projects as requested so the company can meet financial objectives
This position will be responsible for the following:
Works closely with the business leaders to identify/understand issues and how they impact the financial results as well as educate/inform department(s) on cost drivers and variances
Provides assistance to Finance team in supporting journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
Assists site management teams in implementing financial and performance measurement systems
Supports Daily Invoicing and Production vs. Invoicing Reconciliation
Responsible for managing incoming and outgoing cash flow and ensure that all accounts are reconciled and discrepancies are resolved.
Initiate all Capital Purchase Orders in SAP
Performs miscellaneous month end journal entries (e.g. Sales, COGS, labor, materials, and overhead)
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
Minimum of 2-4 years of related experience required.
Previous experience with SAP platform and working in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
