We have an immediate opening for a dynamic Accounting Analyst, responsible for maintaining financial reports, supporting month-end close and special projects as requested so the company can meet financial objectives.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:• Provides assistance to Finance team in supporting journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations• Assists site management teams in implementing financial and performance measurement systems• Initiates all Capital Purchase Orders in SAP• Supports costing of BOMs (Bill of Materials) and submission of RFQs (Request for Quote)• Performs miscellaneous month end journal entries (e.g. Sales, COGS, labor, materials, and overhead.• Provides backup support to other Analysts as needed.• Completes Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), journal entries, balance sheets and other paperwork according to established company policy • Maintains confidentiality of financial information; other sensitive and confidential information• Assist with providing supporting documentation for internal and external audits.• Exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works outside of the normal schedule as needed due to workplace demands. Performs other related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required. • Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience required.• Previous experience with SAP platform and working in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
