General Information:
The Chemical Receiving Coordinator is responsible for the verification and processing of raw material and chemical receipts in accordance with standard operation procedures (SOP) and work instructions (WI).
What are we looking for?
High school diploma/GED equivalent with proficiency in math and reading comprehension.
Two years of experience operating powered industrial truck equipment
Two years of experience with shipping and receiving
SAP experience strongly preferred.
Strong English communication (both written and oral), interpersonal, and organizational skills.

This position is responsible for:
Processes inbound deliveries of chemicals and raw materials.
Schedules dock appointments for incoming deliveries.
Unloads the raw materials and stages for sampling. Performs put-aways of raw materials in the appropriate inventory location.
Reviews documentation and receives raw materials and chemicals into SAP.
Completes and retains all receiving documentation and records based on applicable SOPs and WIs.
Coordinates with the appropriate departments to process receipts in SAP and resolve any issues related to deliveries.
Processes SAP transactions related to receiving raw materials.
Cleans in-place (CIP), cleans out-of-place (COP) and sanitizes any associated piping, fittings, pumps and other related equipment used in process of unloading bulk tankers.
Operates powered industrial truck (PIT) equipment in accordance with established safety procedures, completes daily checklists and notifies the proper individuals of needed repairs.
Supports production by picking/staging materials for use in Pre-weigh and Compounding.
Maintains raw material and chemical inventory in SAP. Investigates inventory related issues and transaction errors in SAP.
Performs all work in compliance with the company’s quality system, FDA good manufacturing practices, OSHA, DOT and EPA regulations.
Keeps the Chemical Warehouse area, external receiving area, and bulk tank room clean and orderly at all times.
Fills in for Chemical Warehouse Lead as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
