We have an opening for a dynamic Senior Accounting Analyst who will be responsible for providing timely, relevant and accurate financial and operational performance information and analysis to all operating groups as needed.
This position is responsible for:
Works closely with the business leaders to identify/understand issues and how they impact the financial results as well as educate/inform department(s) on cost drivers and variances.
Supports Finance team in completing journal entries (e.g., Sales, COGS, labor, materials, & overhead) and balance sheet reconciliations; supports month-end close and special projects as requested.
Assist plant management in implementing financial and performance measurement systems.
Prepares, analyzes, and distributes reports on capital projects, fixed assets, and depreciation schedules.
Assists in the preparation of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, as well as the annual accounting audit.
Provides ad-hoc reports and analysis that support the financial and operational performance of the company.
Supports Daily Invoicing and Production vs. Invoicing Reconciliation.
Provide backup support to the Accounting Manager.
Assist with cycle count / physical inventories variance analysis.
Maintains confidentiality of financial information, other sensitive and confidential information.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
Minimum of 5 years of previous financial analysis experience.
Previous experience with SAP platform and working in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
