Our Groveport site has an immediate opening for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who will be responsible for full cycle recruiting from sourcing candidates, scheduling and conducting interviews and selecting candidates.
This position will be responsible for the following:
Partners with and builds relationships with Recruiting Manager and Hiring Managers: provides weekly status updates, assess risks/challenges and resolution to develop a sourcing strategy for each requisition.
Sources, identifies, interviews, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
Gain a full understanding of each job requisition assigned and become a subject matter expert as it relates to all areas of the recruitment process.
Responsible for full cycle recruiting to the assigned job requisitions, using relevant tools and techniques to source roles (e.g. Linked In, social media and networking).
Manages the interview process (ensures candidate is scheduled timely, collects interview feedback, ensures qualified candidates are presented and manages feedback to candidate).
Performs data entry into HRIS system and ensures all candidate information is saved into candidate profiles to ensure legal compliance with employment policies, practices and procedures.
Maintains confidentiality of salary information, background check and drug test results, and other sensitive and confidential information.
Exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works outside of the normal schedule as needed due to workplace demands (e.g. supporting off-shifts). Performs other related duties as required.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communication or related field. In lieu of a four year degree, equivalent work experience is required.
Minimum of 3 years recruiting experience, ideally in a high volume, manufacturing or retail setting.
Knowledge of: Microsoft Office Suite: FDA Good Manufacturing Practices and OSHA Safety Requirements; HRIS systems; recruiting and sourcing methods and techniques in a high volume environment.
Skill in: solving problems; prioritizing work to ensure deadlines are met; listening; interviewing.
Ability to: manage multiple and competing priorities; adapt to change; develop and maintain good working relationships; develop and maintain processes and workflows; be detail-oriented; communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to a diverse group of individuals; present information to large and small groups; be organized and work quickly and efficiently with short deadlines; multi-task; read, comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions, including SOPs; work independently and as part of a team; operate a computer; wear required PPE as needed when walking through the facility.
