Packing Process Technician (Night Shift)
Packing process technician is responsible of controlling the Zobele Base Conditions programs: CIL, C/L, C/O’s, 5S, Basic PM’s, Safety, Basic Troubleshooting, Training. Responsible for Operations and the execution of the Zobele Base Conditioning programs. These include Case Packer, Bliss, Case Erectors 1 &2, Case Labeler/Sealer 1&2 and Palletizer -P1. Packing Process Technician also cover vacation replacement, break / lunches when needed. Promote continuous improvement, coaching, mentoring in a safe working environment. Packing Process Technician is receptive to regular coaching and development by Production Supervisor. Packing Process Technician consistently demonstrates leadership, operational skills, packing process knowledge, shift planning, effective communication, and overall results accountability. Additional responsibilities include; but, are not limited to adhering to Plant and Department Safety practices, complying to defined Quality procedures, understanding Quality documentation, and required Production documentation.
Responsibilities:
Follows up to ensure that all required Centerline audits, CIL activities, and machine changeovers on completed as required and within standards
Demonstrates knowledge to cross train in equipment operations.
Assist in tracking and Completion of Team’s required training records
Assist the Production Supervisor to track Team self-sufficiency for on-going resource cross training and additional training needs
Escalation Process, ensuring support to attend and fix opportunities.
Requirements:
Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in packing operations.
Strong technical knowledge of packing equipment and processes.
Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on packing equipment to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Willingness to learn and develop through regular coaching and mentoring.
