Position Overview:
Immediate Openings for Caregivers who are compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHA), ideally with a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA).
As a Caregiver, you will provide essential non-medical care for individuals in their homes. You will support clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care Assistance: Help clients with eating, dressing, bathing, grooming, and mobility.
- Medication Reminders: Ensure clients follow their prescribed medication schedules.
- Home Exercise Support: Assist with home-based exercise programs as directed.
- Basic Health Monitoring: Report any physical or emotional changes to the supervising nurse.
- Daily Activities: Accompany clients on walks and provide companionship.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare simple, nutritious meals for clients.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe living environment, including tasks such as laundry, tidying, and dishwashing.
- Safety and Communication: Monitor the client’s safety, address concerns proactively, and communicate any issues promptly to the care team or family.
- Basic Wound Care Support: Reinforce simple dressings as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliable, empathetic, and attentive to detail.
- Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and daily tasks.
- Prior experience in caregiving or home health is preferred but not required.
