KE Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team! This position is based in Billings, MT with no travel requirements outside of Yellowstone County.

Responsibilities
Estimating:
· Reviews project plans and documents to obtain detailed project knowledge
· Reads and comprehends the project specifications. Coordinates required materials costs in an estimate
· Coordinates notification of necessary subcontractors
· Develops preliminary schedule to assure that project can be completed in defined time
Pre-Construction:
· Collects, reviews and submits submittals
· Performs scheduling and subcontractor communication; complete subcontractor agreements
· Orders approved materials
· Completes utility applications (gas, power) and coordinates temp power with Superintendent
· Finalizes schedule and utilize CPM
· Prepares Superintendents folder
· Executes pre-construction meeting
Construction:
· Facilitates OAC (or OC) meetings
· Acts as the primary project owner point of contact
· Performs job costing and completes monthly Pay Apps.
· Formally requests change orders in writing. Coordinates and/or completes change orders including subcontractor change orders.
· Conducts weekly check-in meeting with Superintendents
· Facilitates on-site walk throughs at crucial milestones as needed
Post-Construction:
· Requests substantial completion in writing
· Conducts job performance audit with President
· Completes O&M, warranty, and closeout packet
Qualifications
- Construction Engineering, Construction Management Degree preferred, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Minimum of five years of experience in project management, including but not limited to: communicating and coordinating with Owners, Clients & Customers, Employees, Vendors & Suppliers, and the General Public
- Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and Procore
- Valid Driver’s License
- Capable of working independently with little supervision
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to facilitate meetings effectively and communicate clearly with diverse teams.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
