EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Perform general carpentry, plumbing and concrete work; preventive maintenance and repair or replacement on boilers, air conditioning, roof top heating, and air-handling units, electrical systems, scoreboards, pumps, valves, electric motors, garage door openers, and swimming pools; connect service for telephone and computer; install or repair plumbing fixtures, water, sewer, and drain lines; perform safety and building inspections according to preventive maintenance schedules; perform underground wiring splicing, locksmith duties; make and install signs for public meetings or for zoning; utilize work request system to schedule and prioritize work; repair lamps and sockets for outdoor lights; enter work order information into Facility Management tracking software.
