We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of an outstanding Workers Compensation firm in the Triad, NC area. Our client is dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to their clients and are looking for a talented Legal Assistant/ Paralegal to join their team.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated and detail-oriented with excellent customer service skills and experienced in Workers Compensation. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to attorneys, managing client communications, and ensuring the high quality of service is provided to the firm's clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.
- Manage client communications, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and scheduling appointments.
- Maintain and organize client files, ensuring all documents are accurately placed into the case management software.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
- Coordinate with medical providers, insurance companies, and other parties involved in personal injury cases.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their concerns and keeping them informed about the progress of their cases.
- Perform general administrative tasks, such as data entry and filing.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal, preferably in personal injury law or workers compensation.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in legal research and familiarity with legal terminology and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bilingual a plus.
Education:
- Preferred: Associate's degree or higher in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field. Equivalent work experience considered.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.75 - $28.00 per hour
