What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automation Technician position at Keathley Patterson Electric?
This role provides on site technical support and service within the state of Arkansas.
Monday through Friday, normally within 8-5 working hours.
Duties:
- Provide field service support for industrial equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC configuration issues on-site
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues on-site
- Install, configure, and test new equipment and systems
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide technical assistance
- Business development, promote sales of services portfolio
- Document all service activities, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
Requirements:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Associates degree or Trade Certification - OR -
- previous experience in industrial maintenance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Familiarity with logic controllers, distributed control systems, and high voltage equipment
- Rockwell/AB experience a plus (RSLogix 500/5000,Studio 5000,View Studio,Motion)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think logically
- Customer service-oriented with good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
