KMK Law is in search of a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join our Real Estate Group to provide full service transactional support to Commercial Real Estate attorneys.
Job Responsibilities :
- Working with the attorneys, draft real estate transactional documents using established templates, including loan documents, purchase agreements, easements, deeds, and related documents.
- Prepare and manage transaction timelines and checklists and resolve open items with attorney direction.
- Order and review title insurance commitments and coordinate with title company to finalize.
- Obtain and review property surveys, zoning letters, lien and litigation searches, and other public records as appropriate.
- Prepare and file entity formation documents, draft resolutions and organizational documents; order and review UCC documents.
- Facilitate closings and assist in execution of documents; prepare escrow / recording instruction letters to title companies and prepare escrow agreements.
- Record real estate documents as appropriate, including e-recording.
- Prepare and distribute closing binders and manage post-closing matters.
- Maintain specific client databases and templates according to attorney instructions.
- Other responsibilities as directed by the attorneys to facilitate commercial real estate transactions.
