Keches Law Group, P.C. is a well-established, 50 attorney law firm with offices in Milton, Bridgewater, and Worcester, practicing in the areas of workers' compensation, personal injury, and medical malpractice.
We are seeking a full time, Spanish speaking, Legal Assistant to join our team in our team in Milton, MA. Qualified candidates must have bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.
Duties :
- Managing all telephone communications for the assigned legal assistant / attorney(s) by answering or directing inquiries
- Producing information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics
- Coordinating case preparation
- Initiating telecommunications which may include organizing client conferences, attorney meetings, and other special functions
- Requesting reports and medical records from doctors’ offices, hospitals, urgent cares, etc. and preparing them for court
- Representing attorney(s) by communicating and obtaining information, following up on delegated assignments, and knowing when to act and when to refer matters to the attorney(s)
- Maintaining client confidence by keeping client / attorney information confidential
- Enhancing the reputation of the department and the organization by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to the position
- Continuing to communicate with and update the clients throughout the process of their case to help ensure the client has all the correct and relevant information
- Opening and scanning of mail addressed to the attorney(s)
- Filing documents and updating client files

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
