- Proficiency in using CAD/CAM software, such as BobCAD or similar to create CNC programs.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining processes.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and their use in quality control.
- Knowledge of tooling selection and optimization for different machining operations and methods.
-Must be knowledgeable of CNC turning center.
- Strong math skills, including the ability to perform calculations for machining parameters.
Kecy Holdings is looking for a CNC Programmer to grow with our company. This individual will be required to cross train at our sister plant out of state, accommodations will be provided during that time.
Responsibilities:
- Develop CNC programs for machining parts based on engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Program, set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision components.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other tools to ensure accurate measurements.
- Perform quality checks on finished parts to ensure they meet specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role.
