What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Buyer position at KEDPLASMA?
The Senior Buyer will oversee all strategic vendor communications, including RFP/RFI, pricing terms negotiations, and contracting. This position will be responsible for monitoring and processing purchase requisitions related to their supplier portfolio from all collection centers and corporate office on ERP system (SAP) and to turn those requisitions into purchase orders. The senior buyer will be expected to proactively monitor the sourcing market and look for opportunities for improvement, both financial and operational. Moreover, the position will act as a liaison between business owners (Ops, QA, S&M, etc.), suppliers and our Legal department.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage supplier communications, including sourcing event invitations, issue resolution, pricing terms negotiations, and contracting
• Create and manage business stakeholder relationships and communications during the purchase requisition process
• Assess change needs, impacts, and stakeholder management activities and support change management integration activities
• Manage the purchase order process, including converting purchase requisitions, verifying budget/contract alignment, and confirming delivery of orders in SAP
• Execute sourcing events, manage business stakeholder involvement, evaluate results, communicate with suppliers on quotes, interface with contracting, and enable updates in ERP systems
• Receive, analyze, and resolve supplier inquiries, disputes, and payment discrepancies
• Perform one-off exception purchases, negotiate final pricing terms, and select suppliers based on singular demand
• Perform data analytics, forecast demand, and identify baselines for purchasing that meet prioritized business requirements
• Prioritize and validate potential strategic options, determine the benefits cases for these options, and measure the performance against established KPI benchmarks
• Interact with various departments to support their procurement requirements and assist in sourcing projects.

Education, Qualifications & Experience:
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with a preferred concentration in Business, Finance, Accounting, Logistics, Engineering or related field
• A minimum of 10 years of related business experience helpful
• A minimum of 6 years of Sourcing/Buying experience is required with proven success in supplier negotiations and contract commercial terms negotiations helpful
• Knowledge of common Procurement processes is preferred
• Experience working in Plasma/Plasma derivatives procurement preferred
• Previous experience in collaborating with other procurement functions such as Legal and QA is preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Frequently performs work while sitting.
Working Conditions:
• Occasionally required to travel overnight, approximately 15% travel.
Salary : $82,000 - $102,000
