Validate a part or assembly against the design intent by collecting points gathered by using a coordinate measure machine.
- Operate Portable Coordinate Metrology Machine(s) to verify various products are in dimensional accordance with drawings and specifications.
- Operate PCMM’s to assist trades in fit-up i.e. live fit.
- Conduct regular maintenance on PCMM and inspection equipment.
- Collect and analyze data using Spatial Analyzer.
- Understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Uses calipers, micrometers, and other hand inspection tools as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements :
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
Requires a High School diploma; and a minimum of three (3) years of programming including a minimum one (1) year programming CMM Faro equipment and Polyworks software experience a plus.
