What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reading Specialist 10%- 4 Hours/Week at Nelson School position at Keene School District?
The job of Reading Specialist was established for the purposes of supporting students and teachers to ensure that all students are reading at or above grade level.
Experience: Minimum of five years’ experience as a classroom teacher Education: Master’s degree in Reading/English Language Arts or Curriculum/Instruction with an emphasis in literacy instruction.
Certification: Must hold or be eligible to hold NH Reading and Writing Specialist #0037 certification or highly-qualified teacher (HQT) status if the endorsement falls on the annual Critical Shortage List.
Clearances: Criminal background check and pre-employment physical, as applicable.
