Duties/Responsibilities
Consultation
- Conducting industrial hygiene assessments, such as air sampling, noise monitoring, and chemical exposure evaluations, to assess and mitigate workplace health risks.
- These duties include travel to and from employer worksites and facilities.
- Design, develop, and deliver training regarding safety topics/issues.
- Provide accurate accounting of issues and remedies and data regarding consultant determinations.
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental health and safety or related discipline and at least 3 years of experience in Industrial Hygiene practices.
- Effective oral and written communications skills to interact and communicate environmental health and safety procedures to small and medium size business in New Hampshire.
- Ability to work effectively with managers, supervisors, and employees under stressful conditions.
- Ability to respond promptly and in-person to client locations throughout New Hampshire that require environmental health and safety services.
- Ability to wear and use appropriate protective equipment as necessary.
- Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform duties and responsibilities of program.
- Knowledge of laws concerning workplace environmental, health and safety.
- Masters and 5 years of related experience preferred.
