Position Overview: The Roofing Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business, building relationships with potential clients, and closing sales for roofing projects. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong sales acumen, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation and Prospecting:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including referrals, networking, and direct outreach.
- Conduct property assessments to determine roofing needs and provide accurate recommendations and solutions.
- Sales Presentations and Consultations:
- Meet with potential clients to present Keep Dry Roofing LLC’s services, explain product options, and provide detailed project estimates.
- Customize roofing solutions based on client needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
- Contract Negotiation and Closing:
- Prepare and present detailed proposals and contracts to clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Negotiate terms and close sales, ensuring a smooth transition to the project management team.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and fostering repeat business and referrals.
- Follow up with clients post-installation to address any issues and gather feedback.
- Market and Product Knowledge:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and new products to effectively position Keep Dry Roofing LLC’s services.
- Continuously update knowledge on roofing materials, techniques, and best practices.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and project progress in the CRM system.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the roofing or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of roofing materials, systems, and installation processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
