Job Brief:
We are looking for a high-performing Store Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. Duties include motivating a tenured sales teams, creating business strategies, meeting sales and profitability goals, and managing staff effectively.
Responsibilities
- Develop business strategies to raise our customer pool, expand store traffic, and optimize profitability
- Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staff
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
- Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
- Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
- Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits, etc.
- Develop and arrange promotional material and in-store displays
- Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
- Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths
- Deal with all issues from staff or customers (complaints, grievances, etc.)
- Be a shining example of good behavior and high performance
- Secures merchandise by implementing security systems and measures
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional groups
- Actively participate in community service activities and contribute to the well-being of our local community.
- Additional store manager duties as needed
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, customer service experience, proven record of meeting and exceeding sales goals, demonstrated integrity and professionalism, well organized with an eye for detail, and a professional demeanor and appearance are required.
- Successful experience as a retail sales associate or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
- Must have personal integrity
