The Purchasing Planner will be responsible for creating items in the system, placing purchase orders accordingly, following up on the purchase orders; developing and maintaining the inventory plan for the company, ensuring that we have the right products in stock at the right time. They will work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to forecast demand and ensure that we have the necessary inventory levels to meet customer demand. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory planning, demand planning, and supply chain management. They will be highly analytical, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers.
Responsibilities
· Create Items in system with multiple data fields, ensuring data is properly formatted using CSV imports.Work with purchasing department to ensure timely and accurate ordering of merchandise
- Review data to identify trends and forecast future inventory needs
- Analyze past sales data to develop stocking plans for new products
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient receiving and storage of merchandise
- Monitor stock levels and reorder merchandise as needed
- Prepare reports detailing inventory levels, stock-outs, and other relevant information
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory records
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines and inventory
- Assist in the development and implementation of new inventory management procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Salary : $18 - $20
