Summary Description
Keesen Landscape’s Human Resources Administrator is dedicated to helping our talented team succeed in achieving organizational goals. The Human Resources Administrator supports and facilitates human resource processes and related systems. This role provides administrative support to the ERRP and wider HR function as needed, including but not limited to, record keeping, recruiting, HRIS file/system maintenance, and benefits administration.
Primary Responsibilities & Principal Duties
Administrative Support
The Human Resources Administrator will perform a variety of HR administrative duties including:
- Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
- Supports completion of forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation, and maintains system accuracy.
- Maintain records of personnel related data in both paper and electronic form (HRIS).
- Supports the maintenance of HRIS and related business system administration and employment related changes.
- Assists with processing of terminations.
- Coordinates planning and execution of training sessions, company events, and meetings.
- Performs other clerical duties and support as assigned.
Recruitment and Staffing
The Human Resources Administrator will assist with Keesen’s employee recruitment strategy, including sourcing, maintaining ATS accuracy, and supporting the on-boarding process. Duties include:
- Assists with the recruitment process by screening candidates’ resumes.
- Tracks status of candidates in ATS and send follow up communication as necessary.
- Schedules meetings and interviews as requested hiring team.
- Assist with new hire onboarding by coordinating background checks, drug screens, and conducting reference checks.
- Conducts or assists with new hire orientations as necessary.
Benefits Administration Support
The Human Resources Administrator will provide effective administration of company benefit plans by:
- Assisting employees by answering questions regarding benefits, FMLA, WC and COBRA administration.
- Assist with employee apparel and uniform programs.
- Assist with benefits system accuracy and timeliness including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
Job Standards
A combination of education and/or experience will be considered to determine the qualification of candidates for the Human Resources Administrator position. Basic qualifications include:
Education/Experience/Certification:
- 2 years of related experience required.
- Bachelor’s level coursework in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field a plus.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR), or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification preferred.
Skills:

Knowledge:
- Practical working knowledge of MS Office Suite including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel
- Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems
- Experience working with H-2B, or other Guest Worker programs is a plus
