Human Resources Administrator
Position Summary
Sheridan Ross PC is looking for a confident, enthusiastic and highly organized Human Resources Administrator to join our team. The Human Resources Administrator will help create a positive employee experience, support several critical human resources functions in the employee lifecycle, and ensure the human resources functions operate efficiently. This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in HR administration.
Essential Functions
- Cultivate a positive and welcoming work environment
- Support activities that promote employee engagement
- Resolve employee queries
- Manage overall hiring process and participate in the onboarding process
- Coordinate and participate in performance review process with supervisors
- Manage medical benefit administration including annual open enrollment
- Perform administrative tasks including but not limited to, timecard management, payroll, and reporting in Paylocity
- Manage human resources compliance testing and audit requirements
- Help implement current and future employment policies
- Organize and maintain employee records
- Organize and maintain employment data
- Take active part in employment projects and assist fellow admin team as needed
- Stay current on relevant federal and state employment laws and other human resources compliance issues
Education
- Requires a BA/BS
Experience
- 2-4 years of experience in a professional office environment
- Previous human resources experience preferred

- Strong communication skills, both in-person and electronically
- Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening
- Prioritizing and multitasking
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
- Taking the initiative
- Attention to detail
- Strong PC Skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software programs quickly

- Interest in learning more in human resources
- Knowledge of using Paylocity a plus
- Knowledge of labor laws a plus

The home office for this position is located at Sheridan Ross’ office in downtown Denver, Colorado. We have a flexible work environment and candidates do not need to be in the office daily, however, there may be in-person requirements for activities such as but not limited to firm functions, training, onboarding, and team meetings.
Base Salary Range: $55,000 - $80,000
