Job Title : Dishwasher
Starting From : $18 / hr-$21 / hr tips! (Depending on Experience)
Location : VOX Kitchen located in South Coast Plaza, California
PART-TIME BENEFITS :Dishwasher Roles and Responsibilities :
- Operate the industrial dishwasher and ensure all dishes, utensils, and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
- Hand wash glassware and other implements when necessary, ensuring they meet cleanliness standards.
- Always adhere to sanitation policies and procedures to maintain a hygienic kitchen environment.
- Assist prep cooks and other kitchen staff with food preparation tasks as required.
- Promptly clean up spills or broken glassware to prevent accidents and maintain safety standards.
- Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to the appropriate party for resolution.
- Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas and ensure it is properly stored.
- Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment in designated areas to maintain organization and accessibility.
- Set up workstations before meal preparation begins to ensure efficiency and readiness.
- Monitor inventory levels of small wares and notify supervisor when supplies are running low.
- Maintain stock of cleaning supplies and place orders, when necessary, with supervisor approval.
- Check washing machine's operation and promptly report any technical / performance issues.
- Sanitize the kitchen area, including floors and occasionally perform restroom deep cleaning.
- Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned by management.
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned by Managers to support kitchen operations effectively.
- Food Handler Card Training Offered with paid training hours if needed
- 1-2 Year experience in similar capacity
