Job Description Summary
The purpose of this position is to work at the plant-side level and be responsible for the day-to-day activities related to Inventory Control. This position will confirm, review, analyze, and investigate all inventory related activity to ensure accuracy and maintain credibility of system information. Additional responsibilities include supporting Physical Inventory and Cycle Count program.
Description of Duties and Responsibilities

Inventory control : Perform inner workings of Inventory Control and physical inventory.
Cycle-Count Program : Support cycle counting program using ERP system functions.
Scrap Trailers : Coordinate the logistics of the scrap trailers through department coordination, vendor management and orderliness of the area. Accept the responsibility for total management of this function.
Trends Daily Scrap / MRO Expense Reporting : Coordinate the daily entry of scrap data into Glovia as prescribed by policy and procedure. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the data entry, meet the daily deadlines for supporting the plant. Identify trends within the scrap function to better understand the data and provide information and results to Senior Management. This includes timely reporting, missing scrap tickets or evidence of such, changes in scrap performance within a department, etc.
Special Projects Teamwork : Undertake special projects as they are assigned to support the successful operation at Astemo Greenfield. These projects can be either assigned or self-identified but must have meaning to the business.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements (Education, Experience, and Skills) :
- 2 yr. college degree in a related field (or commensurate work experience)
- Minimum of 10-year's related work experience
- Knowledge of computer systems and spreadsheets necessary to perform job duties
