Job Description

Lawyer interested in practicing personal injury and criminal defense. This position can be remote.

Responsibilities :

Represent clients in court and engage with prosecutors.
Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients.
Advise clients on their pending criminal matters.
Negotiate dismissals and plea agreements.
Participate in trial preparation and conduct trials.
Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.
Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of criminal defense law.

Qualifications :

No minimal experience required.

Must have Texas bar license.

Familiarity with various levels of offenses and the general workings of different courts and counties.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proven ability to develop excellent working relationships with teammates, opposing counsel, and court staff.

Ability to build positive rapport with clients.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Spanish-speaking is not required but preferred.
