Industrial Coatings Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team at Keith MFG Company.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares material for painting by removing grease, slag, dust, or debris to ensure all surfaces are clean and ready for coating.
• Operates a spray painter to apply industrial paint finishes on metal or aluminum parts in a paint booth.
• Inspects completed parts to meet KEITH Quality Control standards.
• Cleans and flushes paint system as needed.
• Follows safety and security policies and procedures.
• Operates painting equipment, including abrasive cleaning equipment.
• Performs other non-paint-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Previous experience painting with a sprayer.
• Familiarity with spray equipment maintenance, adjustments, and clean-up.
• Prepping experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Able to follow directions and work independently.
• Effective prioritization and task execution in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
