Job Summary
A Compliance Manager, is responsible for ensuring that properties and developments adhere to established design guidelines and regulations. They conduct field inspections, identify discrepancies, and work towards resolving issues to maintain the aesthetic and character of a community or development. The compliance manager will also keep and maintain insurance policies for all Associations managed by Keith Collins Co. The Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring that the association and its affiliated entities maintain strict adherence to all applicable insurance regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. This role will play a crucial part in mitigating risk, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a culture of ethical conduct within the association.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct Site Inspections:
Inspect properties and construction sites to verify compliance with ARC guidelines, building codes, and other relevant regulations.
- Identify Discrepancies:
Compare observed conditions with approved plans and guidelines, noting any deviations or violations.
- Documentation and Reporting:
Document findings through photographs, reports, and detailed notes, highlighting areas of compliance and non-compliance.
- Communication and Resolution:
Communicate with property owners, contractors, and other stakeholders to address identified discrepancies and work towards resolution.
- Enforcement:
Assist in the enforcement of ARC guidelines and regulations, potentially involving follow-up inspections, communication with relevant authorities, or other measures to ensure compliance.
- Knowledge of Regulations:
Maintain a thorough understanding of ARC guidelines, building codes, and relevant regulations to ensure accurate and consistent inspections.
- Collaboration:
Work effectively with other members of the staff, and relevant parties to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Fieldwork
May involve outdoor inspections in various weather conditions, requiring physical mobility and the ability to navigate construction sites.
Insurance compliance management:
- Work with the associations insurance broker to conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify potential risks and ensure ongoing adherence to policies.
- Develop and deliver training programs to association staff and members on insurance compliance requirements, including ethical conduct, risk management, and regulatory obligations.
- Ensure that all insurance-related activities, including contract negotiation, claims handling, and policy administration, comply with established policies and procedures.
- Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies regarding compliance , providing accurate and timely information regarding the association's compliance.
- Monitor and manage all Association insurance policies for Keith Collins Co ensuring there is no lapse in coverage and each Association remains compliant with necessary coverage and applicable laws.
This position is essential for maintaining our commitment to excellence and ensuring that we meet all regulatory standards effectively.
