Journeyman Plumber Or Journeyman Eligible Apprentice

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Plumber or experienced apprentices that are currently eligible to take the journeyman exam to join our team (any apprentice hired would be expected to pass the journeyman exam within the first 90 days of employment, KTP will pay for the first exam). The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in plumbing systems and plumbing/gas codes. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to work independently in various environments, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Although Keith The Plumber performs all aspects of plumbing from new construction to commercial to service work, our primary focus is on residential and commercial service work. Service experience is a big plus, but not required. Experience operating heavy equipment is also a big plus. We do offer 24 hour service and our after hours technicians are compensated extremely well after hours and on weekends, but being on call is not mandatory and can be discussed during the interview process for anyone that applies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install plumbing systems according to specifications and codes.
• Perform field service tasks including troubleshooting and repairing plumbing issues.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
• Execute construction plumbing projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Apply mechanical knowledge to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
• Engage in remodeling projects, adapting existing systems as necessary.
• Perform pipe threading and other related tasks to ensure proper fittings.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role in the plumbing industry.
• Strong background in construction plumbing with hands-on experience in residential and commercial settings.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing installations.
• Experience in maintenance person services is a plus, showcasing versatility in home improvement tasks.
