Job Title : Administrative Assistant for Electrical Contractor

Location : Cranston

Job Type : Part-time

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Administrative Assistant to join our team. We are an established electrical contracting business. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other communications.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and coordinate job site visits for electricians.
  • Assist with project documentation, including bids, contracts, and invoices.
  • Manage office supplies and equipment inventory.
  • Maintain and update client and project databases.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other administrative documents.
  • Handle billing, invoicing, and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Provide general administrative support to the operations team and field staff.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and help maintain job site documentation.
  • Post on social media.
  • Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and QuickBooks (or similar software).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the electrical contracting industry is a huge plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
