Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Ironworker Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication and construction, demonstrating proficiency in various techniques and tools. As an Ironworker Foreman, you will play a crucial role in assembling and installing structural steel and miscellaneous metals for new construction and renovation, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. We primarily contract small new construction projects and renovation projects.
Duties
- Assemble and install structural steel and miscellaneous steel metals.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, equipment and welding machines.
- Perform welding tasks.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and compliance with safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Ironworker or in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, welding equipment, and cranes is essential.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A commitment to safety standards and practices on the job site.
