Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the vision and strategic planning for the organization, ensuring alignment with community needs and artistic priorities.
- Develop and implement innovative programs that engage diverse audiences and promote cultural expression.
- Foster relationships with artists, cultural institutions, and community partners to enhance collaboration and support for the arts.
- Oversee budgeting, fundraising, and grant writing efforts to ensure financial sustainability and growth.
- Advocate for the arts at local, regional, and national levels, promoting the organization’s mission and initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making data-driven decisions to enhance impact and reach.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a dedicated team of professionals, encouraging creativity and professional development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Arts Administration, Cultural Studies, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10 years of experience in arts and culture management or related fields, with significant leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of the arts community and cultural landscape.
- Proven track record of successful fundraising and financial management.
- Exceptional communication and public speaking skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Experience in program development, evaluation, and implementation.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and community partners.
- Passion for the arts and a deep commitment to promoting cultural diversity and inclusivity.
