Keller is looking for an experienced Payroll Coordinator to work on-site at our San Diego, CA location.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll weekly in accordance with prevailing wage and union requirements
- Prepare and distribute Certified Payroll Reports
- Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments, and post information onto designated records
- Review and send Corporate HR new hire paperwork for union employees
- Serve as the company’s union audit liaison
- Process payroll in compliance with State (CA, NV, AZ, WA, OR, ID, HI, AK) and Federal requirements including FICA, FUTA, SUI
- Assist on other projects as needed
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of full-time payroll experience
- A minimum of 5 year of full-time construction prevailing wage experience
- Experience using D365 and Ceridian is preferred
- Experience with online payroll reporting (LCP Tracker, DIR, EMARS, etc.)
- Experience processing payroll for a multi-state employer is preferred
- Strong analytical skills
- Motivated, self-starter with high self-esteem and confidence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office, including advanced Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) is a plus
- HR experience is a plus
