We are currently seeking to fill the following position for our Buffalo location.
IMPORT - EXPORT SPECIALIST
We are looking for a highly motivated, well organized, team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. High degree of ownership, and desire to make those around you better.
Primary duties;
- Daily Review of export invoices for accuracy, including correct;
- ECCN
- Sch B numbers
- FTA certificates
- Certificates of origin (CoO)
- Perform/participate in Import and Export audits, track and address any corrective actions required.
- Maintain and update documentation for export and import programs.
- Maintain the required record retention for all import and export activity
- Maintain export licensing records, tracking shipments against a license, where required.
- Understand the use of Consolidated Screening lists and other screening requirements.
- Completing export Control Certificates (EAR/ITAR Compliance).
- Stay up-to-date on regulations and laws for both import and export activities
- Participate in internal and external training
- Track all incoming shipments to give status updates to the appropriate people and/or departments
- Serve as the Company resource for trade related questions and provide guidance to the different functional areas of the facilities regarding trade requirements
- Assist with general duties in the shipping and handling department
Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must have knowledge of Import/Export classifications and documentation
- Must have experience working with and/or addressing U.S. Customs inquiries
- Must have working knowledge of ACE portal and ability to properly track incoming shipments
Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position
Bachelors degree preferred but not required
Salary : $30 - $37
