Position Overview :
Salary : $65,000 - $70,000
This is a fully remote opportunity, but candidates must reside on the East Coast and operate on Eastern Standard Time.
Position Summary :
As a key player in our team, you will ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. You will handle workers’ compensation claims, authorize settlements within your designated authority, and analyze accident reports for accuracy. Close collaboration with field managers will be essential to improve outcomes in loss prevention and claims management.
Core Responsibilities :
- Legal Compliance : Proactively ensure adherence to federal, state, and local laws, advising management about necessary actions.
- Claims Processing : Timely and accurately manage workers’ compensation claims, including approving settlements and communicating closely with various teams.
- Risk Management : Analyze trends to reduce work-related injury claims and develop strategies to mitigate future risks.
- Documentation and Reporting : Maintain OSHA-related documentation and review accident investigations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Knowledge of OSHA standards, ability to identify and address potential issues, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
