Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabricating structural steel components based on blueprints and specifications. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized shop environment.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to fabricate steel components.

• Use MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques to assemble and weld structural steel.

• Cut, grind, drill, and shape metal using saws, torches, and other hand or power tools.

• Lay out, fit, and weld steel components to exact specifications.

• Inspect and test welds to ensure structural integrity and quality.

• Forklifts, and other shop equipment safely.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety procedures and protocols.

• Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting fabricated materials as needed.

• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a welder fabricator, preferably in a structural steel setting.

• Proficiency in MIG (GMAW) and Stick (SMAW) welding; TIG welding experience is a plus.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and shop drawings.

• Experience with cutting, grinding, and metal preparation.

• Familiarity with shop tools, including saws, drill presses, and press brakes.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

• Safety-conscious mindset with knowledge of OSHA regulations.

• Certification in welding (AWS or equivalent) is a plus but not required.
