HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Multi-Plant QFS Subject Matter Expert – You will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) coaching individuals on executing the QFS Kellogg Work Systems (KWS) programs - Building technical, leadership, and critical thinking capabilities; identifying opportunities for improvement and providing training needs based on health check assessments.
Capability Building – You will provide an atmosphere that allows for mentoring, talent creation, and development of current and future Sanitation leaders at plant and corporate levels; Review effectiveness of the sanitation program from End to End; Corporate, Third Party, Manufacturing, from design, implementation & execution.
Make It Better Mindset - Partner in providing a continuous improvement strategy for Sanitation that ensures effectiveness and efficiencies throughout the Supply Chain. Provide direction regarding plant execution of cleaning, verification and validation programs to prove Sanitation effectiveness.
Programs, Policies, and Projects – Oversees the development and improvement of Corporate Cleaning, Sanitation and Pest Control Manuals, Policies, Procedures. Ensuring standardization of plant policy, procedures and align with corporate policy. Provide guidance and assist in the development of and maintenance of Sanitation program (MSS, daily sanitation, SSOPs, HACCP, Allergen, etc.) to ensure our products follow customer and government regulations.
Technical Guidance – Ensure new processes and equipment installations meet Hygienic Design Standards, providing proper oversight to Corporate and Plant Manufacturing functional teams to prevent and improve food safety issues relates to Sanitation. Ensure compliance with Cleaning and Sanitation Manuals, Pest Control, Hygienic Design, and Building and Fabric Maintenance Standards; Assist in providing audit oversight for internal and external audits. Provide technical leadership to identify, monitor, correct, and eliminate compliance gaps; Guide Quality & Food Safety leadership, including Supply Chain, on how to conduct risk assessment and develop corrective action plans for sanitation issue resolutions.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field with proven work-related Sanitation experience.
7 + years Sanitation experience or equivalent in a manufacturing environment and/or corporate experience in food industry or related field.
Familiarity with Hygienic Design, Pest Control, including experience related to HACCP, SSOP’s, GMP’s, chemical application in both wet and dry-cleaning practices.
Variety of experience in quality operations, sanitation, food safety, materials management, innovation quality, regulatory, leadership, and business acumen
Demonstrated problem-solving skills including critical thinking, root cause analysis, risk assessment, and corrective/preventive action
Communication skills and technical capability that will promote good relations with manufacturing operators, management, and other technical and scientific disciplines
Willingness to work variable schedules within plant manufacturing, including occasional weekends, aligning with cleaning schedules.
Ability to travel a up to 75%.
Salary : $137,000 - $180,000
