Primary Responsibilities:
The Functional Analyst provides system analysis, configuration, development, QA and
support for Enterprise level in-unit and reporting applications.
Ø Work directly with business team members, developers, and user community to
identify business needs and interpret them as application requirements primarily
related to financial budgeting & forecasting.
Ø Develop understanding of marketplace and product lines to effectively interpret
financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
Ø Assist the business with the creation, testing and implementation of budget
templates for integration within cloud-based solution (Anaplan – no Anaplan
experience required)
Ø Use analysis to influence and drive improvements within finance and our business
partners by using fact-based, holistic and forward-looking perspectives.
Ø Provide second level support for all in-unit and reporting applications.
Ø Manage versioning and controls to ensure business continuity via strong
organizational skills.
Ø Draft requirements and specifications documentation, complete to signoff and
validate deliverables to specifications.
Ø Function as primary liaison between business and developers
Ø Write and execute functional test scripts and coordinate with other analysts for
system integration testing.
Ø Learn a very complex business and facilitate projects and decisions across many
disparate user groups.
Ø Other reporting/analysis and special projects as required
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Accounting, MIS)
2 years of experience in finance or functional analysis a plus.
A solid track record of the following is a must:
Ø Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills including, but not limited to: Pivot tables,
more advanced formulas (IF, SUMIF, VLOOKUP, etc.)
Ø Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to multi-task
Ø On time development of user stories, application requirements, and/or process
flow diagrams
Ø UI design and/or mockups, with detailed requirements
Ø The ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ø Creative problem-solving skills.
Ø Very detailed approach to tasks assigned.
Ø Managing conflicting priorities and gaining consensus across multiple user groups
Ø Committed and enthusiastic approach to supporting business customers and end users.
Ø Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Additional Skills preferred:
Ø Experience with financial systems, forecasting, and budgeting
Ø Experience with a formal software development life cycle
Ø Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Ø Experience with Jira or a similar tool
Ø Experience with reporting tools (Power BI) and data analysis
Ø Experience with SAP and/or Hyperion

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
