Job Description
The Generator Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing power generation equipment. Key responsibilities include:
• Coordinating daily schedules with the service dispatcher to ensure efficient operation.
• Diagnosing and resolving issues with power generation systems, including identifying root causes of problems and implementing corrective actions.
• Communicating effectively with internal staff regarding work order status and customer information.
• Performing routine and planned maintenance as scheduled, including preparing necessary paperwork for parts procurement.
• Participating in on-call rotations to provide emergency service support outside of regular working hours.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of service bulletins and staying current with industry developments.
The ideal candidate will have a documented clean driving record, proficiency with Microsoft-based products, and authorization to work in the United States. Additionally, they should possess a high school diploma (vocational or GED), with EGSA certification being a plus but not required.
