">We are looking for a highly experienced Manufacturing Operations Director to lead our team in Bergen County, NJ. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our brand-new manufacturing facility.
">About the Facility
">The facility is a state-of-the-art manufacturing site that requires a skilled leader to manage its daily operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing production activities, implementing lean manufacturing principles, and coordinating with Engineers and additional team members to establish best practices for assembly, automation, and quality control.
">Key Responsibilities
">- Oversee the facility, ensuring smooth operational rollout and coordinating all manufacturing initiatives.
- Monitor manufacturing costs, expenses, and budget adherence to maximize efficiency.
- Develop staffing plans, oversee production schedules, and workflow processes to optimize efficiency.
- Track inventory, materials usage, and waste reduction initiatives to drive cost savings.
Requirements and Qualifications
">- A minimum of 10 years of experience managing in a manufacturing environment with ISO and Lean manufacturing experience required.
- The ideal candidate should have hands-on leadership qualities, be able to foster a collaborative and results-driven culture focused on efficiency and continuous improvement, and provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to production teams.
- Additionally, they should have experience in cost tracking, budget management, and expense control in a manufacturing setting.
